Editorial Disclosure
This page states how Tech Sentinel makes money, how its articles are produced, and what does and does not affect what it publishes. It is deliberately short, because everything on it has to be true.
How this site is funded
This site currently carries no affiliate links, no sponsored content, no paid placement, no display advertising and no newsletter sponsorship. Nothing on it earns a commission on anything you buy or sign up for.
If that changes, this page changes first, and any article containing a commercial link will disclose it on the page itself.
How articles are produced
Articles are researched from primary sources: vendor and project documentation, published standards and specifications, release notes, advisories, and measurements published by the people who took them. Drafts are produced with AI assistance and then edited against those sources before publication.
Articles are published under the Tech Sentinel Newsroom byline. That is an editorial desk, not a named individual, and this site does not attribute its work to invented people with invented credentials. No article here claims hands-on lab testing, benchmarking, or first-hand measurement, and none should be read as a report of something this site physically tested. Where a number comes from a datasheet or someone else's measurement, the article says whose.
What influences coverage
- What readers of this topic are actually trying to find out
- Material changes to the software, hardware, or standards being covered
- Whether a primary source exists that is good enough to write from
What does not influence coverage
- Whether a vendor runs an affiliate or referral program
- What a program pays, where an affiliate link exists at all
- Whether a vendor has contacted this site
- Whether a topic is convenient for search traffic
Review samples and vendor relationships
This site does not accept review units, hardware loans, free licences, or gifts, and no article here is written from a vendor-supplied sample. It is not owned by, funded by, or operated by any of the vendors, projects, or platforms it covers.
